Parker Dam is another favorite spot of mine. It has some of the most gorgeous trees I've ever seen.
The forest here had been used for lumbering, and once all the trees were gone, so were the people. Years passed by, with erosion, flooding and wildfires spreading through barrren land. Today, you will find the forest flourishing again, with both trees and wildlife, including Elk, which are rarely seen in Pennsylvania. |
