| Watkins Glen State Park is located in New York state, and is probably my favorite place in that entire state.
This particular park is in a 400 foot deep, narrow gorge that was cut through rock by a stream from when glaciers of the Ice Age deepened the Seneca valley. Hiking through the gorge allows people to go both over and under 19 waterfalls, as well as trek through a piece of woodland. It is also the most famous of all the Finger Lakes State Parks. |
